I'm attempting to make a "Find Closest Facility" service for a web app and when I perform the task it states, "Submitted, Executing... Failed" and does not display any graphic results. The first question is there a location in the Web App Builder that provides a traceable error code to why the tool failed? Next, I noticed in the widget under the Output section it states "Can not set renderer because of unknown geometry type." I feel like this is my primary issue and so I began reading about creating the "Make Closest Facility Layer". From my deduction it seems that the output graphic layers need to be on the server so when the "Find Closest Facility" is performed it can render the paths and facilities. Am I correct in my deduction and if so where is a good resource that outlines the steps? Thanks, Steve.

I did. No change. What is strange is the MTL file I looked at from your asset folder for the complete streets clearly lists the JPGs it would use for the texture whereas my MTL completely ignores the JPGs. Here is what the model looks like. Simple with 3 textures.

I'm creating custom objects that I'd like to import into CE but my textures are not coming through. I've export my objects to Collada (.dae) and Wavefront object (obj). I tested my exports to bring them back into 3DS Max and they lose the texture so I feel this is an export problem and not a CE problem. However, I reviewed material files from ESRI sample CE projects and the format is different than what 3DS Max is exporting. Does anyone know more about obj export versions/formats? Attached are 2 files to compare.

Discovery: When cropping or re-sizing your aerial for your CE project chances are you will need to georeference the image to your geography or another aerial. Georeferencing an aerial in ArcMAP will take on the ArcMAP scene projection but that is not enough. Be sure to use the "Project Raster" in the Toolbox and this will ensure proper scale and placement for your CE scene.

So the problem is the image. I created a new scene and inserted the original aerial (UTM NAD83 Zone 10N meter) and the road is properly scaled. I tried georeferencing the clipped aerial into that projection and it still gives me the improper scale so I used the raster projection tool and WhaLa!!!...the road is properly scaled. So using the georeferencing tool is not enough to change your image projection/coordinates even though it takes on the current scene projection in your ArcMAP scene.

Hi David. I have a new challenge. I have a new project using a copy of the same folder structure and content for the Complete Streets rule and I encountered a scale issue. The original GIS data was in State Plane NAD83 CA Zone II Feet. My aerial was clipped and georeferenced to the same projection. I thought it was a feet versus meter thing so I projected everything to meters. I get the same results. You will see in the image the 80 ft. roadway x-section and the street network set to 24.2 meters. When I imported the aerial I double checked the pixel dimensions and it's the same as dimensions as my ArcGIS scene. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I changed the radius on the intersection back to 3 meter and the texture shifted back to normal for the street segment.

Got it. Thanks. The bike conflict will work for the intersection but it does't allow the dash to continue through the lanes. Nonetheless, it still works. The driveway locations are more challenging because the dash length starts at the beginning therefor the opposite side is a solid green. You see I have the empty space flagged. That section is the same as the other but for some reason the texture is shifted. Any ideas? I'm wondering if the intersection is driving the shift.
