@David_McRitchie Thank you for the response. I feel I often don't get responses from Esri folks here anymore! After further testing the problem appears to be exclusively with using a Web App Builder app. Experience Builder apps and maps made in the new map viewer display a secured item just fine. In my use case, for this particular application, it's fine. But many out there (and my organization included) are stuck with Web App Builder apps in certain cases due to the lack of parity in Experience Builder. The lack of full functionality is unfortunate, but I am glad that in this case it's surmountable.

The issue: a secured layer will not display when viewed through an embedded application on my Hub site. I have an application whose map contains a secure layer. For that secure layer the URL for the application, as well as that of the map that underpins it, are stored as the viable URLs (background on the process can be found here). As configured this application can be embedded in a website and the data will be displayed properly (because it's being viewed through the appropriate embedded URL). This works fine on our organization's website. This does not work, however, on a Hub site. Is there a a workaround to make this viable? The layer does not display in either the embedded application nor when place as an iFrame.

@DanielFox1 thank you for the reply and the various links. Unfortunately they are not what I am looking for. Your opening line is where the problem lies: Esri spends so much time touting the interoperability of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro. The thoughtlessness with which that interoperability is actually executed can be astounding at times. I understand that Smart Forms are not 'part of' Pro. And that's a mind boggling shame. If one can save a form with a layer in ArcGIS Online, the fact that that form does not carry through into Pro is a huge missed opportunity. Esri has so many hands in so many different pies and none of them talk to each other.

@Kara_Shindle Hopefully this work. The README are the notes I took after I did this (quite a while ago) and I've converted their python notebook (that I had adjusted a little) to a pdf so hopefully you can follow along.

I did test it in 2.9 I opened the database I created in 3.1, where the rules executed successfully, in 2.9. The overlap rule no longer works and it takes the first jurisdiction only.

@JohannesLindner I actually wanted to follow up here in case you have additional knowledge - the syntax you gave me works flawlessly in 3.x. However I opened the gdb in 2.9 and it reverts to the same behavior when using First....it stops using largest overlap as you've described. Is this a known limitation?

Hoping the community here can lend a hand. The goal: create a calculation attribute rule for a polygon feature class that extracts a value from the feature with which it has the largest overlap in another dataset. If a user creates a polygon I want the value of an underlying polygon to be used for an attribute in the edited datasets. However I want to have error controls in case the user creates a polygon that overlaps two of the underlying polygons. I want to extract the attribute from the polygon with which it has the largest overlap. Current code: var fsJurisdiction = FeatureSetByName($datastore, "jurisdictions", ["Jurisdiction"])
var fsJurisdictionIntersect = Intersects(fsJurisdiction, $feature)
var jurisdiction = First(fsJurisdictionIntersect)
if (jurisdiction == null) return {"errorMessage": "Not in a jurisdiction"}
return jurisdiction.Jurisdiction

I'd like to be able to replicate some of the functionality of Smart Forms in feature services in ArcGIS Pro. As the forms for feature services and maps do not carry over into Pro, is there a method (through contingent values, attribute rules, subtypes, or other) to replicate conditional visibility of fields? For example, if the feature creator chooses Option A for the first field I don't even want them to be able to see the downstream fields that would be available for Option B.

@Kara_Shindle I did get it figured out eventually. The response for this question is now deprecated, which I mentioned above (as an aside, Esri, you need to figure out how to get old answers off of here so people don't keep finding the wrong information over and over). I was able to get help from Esri staff at one point - it's a sort of complicated process that involves smuggling in a new xml file to change the survey's definition in order to get it to accept calling to the related features. if you give me some time I can try to rustle up where I have it, or you can contact @JamesTedrick who provided the script and guidance.

@Richard_Purkis - Yes, I started with the Foldable template because I was trying to port over something from WAB builder. Do I need to rebuild the application from a blank template if I want that tab gone?

Guys.......how does one get rid of the attribute table tab in Experience Builder? I removed the attribute table (it's functionality is replaced by a list widget) but I can't seem to remove this panel. Is this a setting on the map? The page?

I have a layer in a map that I am serving in Experience Builder to solicit edits. I updated the domain values that were the templates for editing and they're not being honored when viewed through the new map viewer/Experience Builder. I changed one of the Zone Type domain values from "Non-Wildland" to "Non-Wildland Buffer" (not just label, but the coded value as well. I updated existing entries that were 'Non-Wildland' to the correct 'Non-Wildland Buffer). This reflects fine in symbology.... ....As well as editing in Map Viewer Classic.... However, the new Map Viewer refuses to honor the change when attempting to edit, and it's not presenting the template appropriately in Map Viewer or Experience Builder. I have gone through and explored the JSONs for the layer and the map and updated every instance of Zone Type being 'Non-Wildland' to make sure it reflects 'Non-Wildland Buffer.' The JSON reflects the editing template as specifying 'Non-Wildland Buffer.' Why is this honored in Map Viewer Classic and not the new Map Viewer? What gives? And is there a trick to get it to reflect appropriately in the new Map Viewer and EB? Thanks!

Posting to see if a workflow is possible, or if any out there have made it work: I want to ensure that my survey prevents repeat submissions of a particular attribute. An example would be an email - if somebody enters their email and they've already submitted that email, it could produce a warning saying "You've already submitted. Try a different email." and prevent submission. In my case I will have a drop-down list of groups (say Group 1, Group 2.....Group 10). And I only want to accept one survey from each group. So if Group 1 is chosen in the drop-down, but has already been chosen, I want a warning to pop up and prevent submission. Poking around it looks like the search() appearance could be used to make this happen: specify the URL of the feature service, the field that contains the group information, and, likely incorporating a hidden field not in the feature service, constrain entries to 'if group is found in list of groups, deny submission.' Anybody out there done this? Are there pre-established workflows?
