Robert, You should use the AGSMapViewLayerDelegate's mapView:didLoadLayerForLayerView: method. This will fire for all the layers you are loading in the mapView. You can check the type of layer to be AGSDynamicMapServiceLayer and then build your sublayer list. Hope this helps! Regards, Nimesh

Faisal, The real problem is that you are creating a local variable of AGSCalloutTemplate (AGSCalloutTemplate *calloutTemp = [[AGSCalloutTemplate alloc]init]). Also, you are explicitly releasing it instead of retaining. After adding the graphic to graphic layer when you tap on it, the callout which added to the graphic is no longer available and hence it crashes. You must create an instance variable of AGSCalloutTemplate with retain property to get it to work. Please have a look at code of available samples for the same. Regards, Nimesh

Robert, All map service layers (Tiled and Dynamic) has property "mapServiceInfo" of type AGSMapServiceInfo. The AGSMapServiceInfo has layerInfos property which has all information of available layers in the map service and their default visibility as an array of AGSMapServiceLayerInfo objects. You'll get IDs and Name of layer from AGSMapServiceLayerInfo. Regards, Nimesh

Jeff, You can populate your list of all available layers in a dynamic map service. All map service layers (Tiled and Dynamic) has property "mapServiceInfo" of type AGSMapServiceInfo. The AGSMapServiceInfo has layerInfos property which has all information of available layers in the map service and their default visibility as an array of AGSMapServiceLayerInfo objects. Spencer, Please provide following information, which will help diagnose the problem. 1. Are you using ArcGIS Server for .NET or Java? 2. What type of security is configured? Token or HTTP Based? 3. If token, what is the Token URL protocol? HTTPS or HTTP? You can check information by http://<host>/arcgis/rest/info 4. Is your server has SSL setup? Means, services starts with HTTPS or HTTP? Regards, Nimesh Hi - I'm using the ArcGIS for iOS App (not the API) to connect to our server hosting a mobile web map, which has some secure services. The "everyone" services appear in the app just fine. The secure services do prompt the user for authentication, and I enter the proper credentials (that work on the rest endpoint in a browser) but it continuously prompts for username and password. If I cancel it prompts for the next secure service. Eventually, I see the map with unsecured service(s) and the Info view shows the entire list of services in the mobile map. But I don't actually get the data of course. What could be wrong with my security configuration? I'm using ArcGIs Server 10 SP1 and iOS APP 1.8.5 Thanks,

Yes, you need to pass ObjectIds in relQuery.objectIds. The delegate method of AGSIdentifyTask returns array of AGSIdentifyResult and it has a identified feature as Graphic. You can get the ObjectId of the feature from it's attributes. Regards, Nimesh

You should do the following... 1. Create a graphics layer and add it to map. 2. Create a graphic with the geometry (polygon) and add to graphics layer. 3. Refresh graphics layer with [graphicsLayer dataChanged]. The sample I pointed out does the same. Regards, Nimesh
