Hello, As an update, the following message is being sent out to administrators regarding the outage today: www.arcgis.com is experiencing issues and is currently inaccessible. This is related to S3 service issues reported broadly by Amazon. We are working as quickly as possible to restore service. Additionally, the update planned for this evening to ArcGIS Online has been delayed until March 1, 2017. We postponed the planned update to take great care in insuring all services, maps and apps are working as they should. Currently we are starting to see some recovery on our sites and services, however, we are still seeing errors for various functionality. We continue to work on getting back to normal operations. Please continue to check http://status.arcgis.com for updates. -Kelly

Hey Tom, I have no guesses based on that error message. I think your best bet will be to work with support to see if there is anything with your specific data that is causing this. -Kelly

Hi Tom, I don't believe this functionality is available through ArcMap. I'd suggest using the Python for this. -Kelly

Try using a web debugging program like fiddler or developer tools in chrome. You should see an update definition call, and there may be a more specific error message in the response of the update definition call. Post the error message if you get something a little more specific.

Hi Joshua, In order to work around this issue, you will either need to print the data at scales where the data is available: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=10df2279f9684e4a9f6a7f08febac2a9 or create your own basemap with imagery data that is available at that scale level. -Kelly

Hi Thomas, Are you trying to update your data or change the symbology of your hosted feature service? When you mention updating the service definition, does this include overwriting the feature service with the changes in the service definition file? -Kelly

Hi Geoffery, What type of subscription are you using? Is it a home use or trial subscription? These types of accounts don't support adding users with existing content or groups. -Kelly

Hello, There isn't currently a way to determine the order of overlapping pop ups. If this is a feature you would like to see in a future release, consider promoting the following idea and adding your specific use case in the comments: https://community.esri.com/ideas/6548

Hi Greg, Currently, your best option will be to use a feature service as your data source and update the feature service with new data. You can do this in ArcMap and Collector. If you need a local copy of the data try automating the exported shapefile using some of the resources from my first post. If you want to edit the feature service and shapefile separately, you will need to develop a script that checks for changes between the feature service and shapefile. Currently there is no out of the box functionality to synchronize data collection with local data. -Kelly
