HI Andrew, I'd suggest contacting technical support as they may be able to assist you by troubleshooting the specific issue. Are you able to share the layer that you have that is not displaying points? Is all of the data (3 layers) pointing to the same feature class in ArcMap? -Kelly

Hi Danielle, That sounds like a bug to me. If the item is not shared with the gallery group that it shouldn't be present in your gallery. Are you the owner of the item? Can other users see the unshared item? Feel free to send me a private message with the url to your organization and the name of the content that shouldn't be shared to see if I can view the issue as an anonymous user. -Kelly

Hi Danielle, Thanks for contacting Support. IT looks like the issue that you ran into is the following bug: NIM104467: Multiple feature classes published as a hosted featu.. The following workaround can get you up and running while this is investigated: Add the feature service to ArcMap from the Catalog window and multiple features get added: 1. Open ArcMap > Sign-in to ArcGIS Online. 2.Go to Catalog window > Click the ‘+’ sign beside ‘My Hosted Services’ > Drag the feature service.

Hi Andrew, Another troubleshooting step will be to see when the data goes missing. When you publish from ArcMap, it creates an SD file. If you download the sd file, you can open it up using 7zip (extract), and navigate to the V101 folder inside the unzipped V101 folder and open the file in the geodatabase. Is there data there? Are any fields hidden in your feature class before publishing? If you need help getting in touch with technical support, just let us know, they will be able to troubleshoot the issue in a more detailed fashion. -Kelly

@Andrew_Smith There isn't a limit to the number of features that you can publish to ArcGIS Online from ArcMap and your license level won't determine what types of layers you can publish to ArcGIS Online. This sounds like you may be running into an issue that needs further investigation by support services. If you suspect the join is causing the issue, try exporting the joined data to a new feature class and republishing the data. If this is successful than the join may be causing the problem and it should be investigated by our development team. -Kelly

Carmel Connolly, ArcGIS Online webmaps display more records than the max record count specified on publishing and do not require that you increase the max record count to display more data. For Hosted Feature services, the web map makes a tile request as a result type which displays more than 8000 points. For more details, check out this rest api documentation: ArcGIS REST API -Kelly

Hey Aaron, To change this text you need to modify the alias of the field. To do this, open your web map and select the option to configure pop ups. Select the option to configure attributes and modify the filed alias that you have based your symbology on to what you would like to see in the legend. Then hit okay and save to save the alias as desired. Once this is updated in the webmap, it will perpetuate in any apps that are referencing the web map. It isn't possible to remove the title. -Kelly

Hi Dave, You could potentially do this by using feature layer views to display only the needed polygon and share that view with the appropriate editor. As the owner of the layer, the primary layer could be shared with the owner or president with all data being viewable. For more information on feature layer views, check out the follow documentation: Manage hosted feature layers—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Whats new with hosted feature layer views | ArcGIS Blog Another option may be to use editor tracking to control the editing, but feature layer views will be more straight forward. -Kelly

Hi Tom, Thanks for following up and I apologize for the slow reply. The update definition call only supports updates to the domain and alias fields. Modifying the nullable property and editable property for an existing field is not possible through the JSON. As a workaround, you can create a new field with the desired properties, Use the add to definition call and specify that the field is not-nullable. You can then use the calculate API to move the values from the field with the incorrect settings. Sample JSON for add to definition: {"fields":[{"name":"testfiled","type":"esriFieldTypeString","alias":"not Nullable","nullable":false,"editable":true,"length":256,"defaultValue":"250"}]} -Kelly

Hi Danielle, Try monitoring the apply edits request in a web debugging tool like Fiddler or chrome developer tools. YOu may be able to find a more specific error message that indicates if you are missing a value like an m value. -Kelly
