Thanks Roberto, This is something that we are still considering but don't have plans to implement in the near future. For the accounts that you would like to set an expiration on, would these contractors own content? if so, what would need to happen with the content (ownership, etc.) when the account expires? Would disabling the account help or would it need to be deleted? -Kelly

yes. There is a time limit before the setting will be hidden from the configuration panel (30 days). If you find that you need to disable https after the setting is no longer visible, you can get in contact with tech support and they can help reset this setting. Also, check out this blog post by Chris Whitmore Changes to organization security settings -Kelly

I'd suggest getting in touch with tech support to look into the specific issue if the suggestions on this post aren't helping to resolve the issue. A tech support analyst can dedicate time and testing to your specific dataset to get to the bottom of the issue in a timely manner. -Kelly

Hi Sam, In order to get access to secure sharing, a member must belong to an ArcGIS Online organization. They don't need to belong to your organization, but need to have at a minimum a viewer user type in order to have access to the sharing model. Public accounts and anonymous users (users without an account) cannot participate in private sharing. If you have questions about who can be invited to your organization, I suggest following up with your account manager to review your workflow and the best practices associated with your specific needs. -Kelly

Hi Melanie, There isn't a way to copy content from one field to another currently. You may want to look into using field calculator for repetitive field calculations. Could you log an idea on the ideas site about this. Would setting specific defaults for your layers help at all or is your workflow closer to M Torres where you are looking to migrate data from one feature to another? -Kelly

Thanks Nathan, I agree to try re-building the spatial index. If the data has a lot of vertexes, which parcel data tends to have, you may want to consider creating a tile layer to display the geometry and the feature layer for querying. Here are two blogs that outline the best practices for showing a lot of data: Best Practices for using Tile Layers as Operational Layers Render millions of features in your maps Strategies to Effectively Display Large Amounts of Data in Web Apps -Kelly

Thanks Kim, Which apps do you usually use to perform searches? is it always using map viewer or do you create web apps using the configurable apps and web app builder? Who in your organization uses the feature search in map viewer and what is the workflow they are looking to accomplish with this task? It is currently possible to configure the search widget to do this which is where most users look up this information as outlined in this blog: Search Widget Enhancements for Configurable Apps Thanks for logging this new idea. Understanding how you and your organization use map viewer for searching for multiple fields will be very helpful. Thanks, Kelly

HI Jordan, There is a layer in your web application that isn't shared publicly, causing the app to ask for a username and password when it loads (https://services7.arcgis.com/Nmg3r3okD4I9SIfk/arcgis/rest/services/MTB_Single_Track/FeatureServer/0?f=json) This layer isn't in your webmap as you are using a service named mtb_test as your mountain bike layer. Are you referencing this layer in a widget like search? I'd suggest either sharing the layer, or adding the already shared layer to your search widget. -Kelly Text config of your app: http://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/7c489102f4bf4becb3d9e374a80bcdad/data?f=pjson

Hi Nicholas, Was an idea ever logged for this? Can you provide some details about your desired workflow? Who are the users, (public, private, your employees, contractors, etc.) and what kind of data would they want to download (sample dataset). What would be helpful data output formats for what the users would need to use it for after it's downloaded? csv for use and further use in excel? A shapefile? GeoJSOn? A screenshot? If this hasn't been logged as an idea, all of this information would also be helpful in the idea. Currently based on the discussion above, there isn't an available workflow for private, Viewers to download data. Understanding the specific use case would help to provide more context for this request. Thanks, Kelly
