I'm trying to make an interactive online map and need some advice.
I'm trying to make an interactive map of an urban greenway network (a trail system that intersects with streets and parks) which would allow users to find directions from one address to another using the trail system as the route.
Is this possible? I've looked into turning the trail network shapefile into a network dataset and then I've tried to figure out how to upload it to AGOL. I have an enterprise account FYI. Should the trail network be a network dataset or a routing service? I just need some advice about basic steps to do this. I haven't really seen this done before but it doesn't seem that complicated.
