Setup Speed

The setup seems a bit slower.  Still determining space requirements,  I am doing a clean install because I had issues when Uninstalling desktop beta 1.

I have 63 GBs available.

Perhaps its related to checking the check box for Create Desktop Icon???

Wow its slow.  Too slow, any ideas???  I guess I can start reading doc while I wait.  I think I can drive to and from Redlands by the time this starts:)

Is the EXE, the correct EXE, that I downloaded?

Perhaps the uninstall was not as clean as I expected.

so, I copied the EXE from my network location to my desktop and launched it there, and this time it completed as expected.  Perhaps there is an issue from launching the exe from a network location.

Sorry for the delayed response guys, but were you both able to download and install the update eventually?  It may have been a problem with the ESRI server hosting the file.  We did have a bit of a glitch the morning this went out but thought it was taken care of. 

Nothing really changed in the install process short of a few options when installing like the desktop icon.  That shouldn't have provided such a delay though.

Second time around, it installed as expected, so perhaps it was that glitch.
