The Esri team is continuing to refine and improve the data model for comms data management on ArcGIS Utility Network Management. Use this thread to provide input on the requirements of the data model, capabilities of the telecom network, ask questions about the network, access early versions of data models, and stay up to date on the latest news.

Great blog on the top 10 capabilities coming in the ArcGIS Utility Network Management Extension.
The Utility Network Management Extension has been release at 10.6!
ArcGIS Utility Network Management | Location-Based Asset Management
This initial release will support electric, water, and gas. We are currently scoping out the requirements for the Telecom Network. If you have requirements for managing your fiber networks, please let us know here.
With the release of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 and ArcGIS Pro 2.1, the Utility Network Management extension is offered as a comprehensive solution to managing utility and telecom networks (telecom model not available with first release). Core tools within the Utility Network Toolbox can be used to create and configure the utility network. For automation purposes, the Utility Network Package Tools from the ArcGIS solutions team are available with asset packages for electric, gas, and water domains. My requirement feedback would be to ensure that it aligns with the old Telecom data model and provides tools that align to at the least the old Telecom tools. We have built our tools and schema around this. Thank you!

Would strands still be represented by logical tables in UN going forward?
Hi abhijeet-- We are working on defining the data model for the telecom solution. Please reach out to me directly, ghunt@esri.com so we can discuss your need and questions.
