Hello, I am interested in teaching GIS at a charter highschool in California. I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Geography, and a California Clear Multiple Subjects Credential with a computer science endorsement. I have had numerous years of experience using GIS for work (teaching is a new career for me), and am also currently working towards getting a certificate for it at a local University.
My question is what credentials, e.g., a CTE, single subject in Social Sciences (Geography), or other types do people have to be able to teach GIS at the high school level in California?
