I know this is probably a simple fix but I can't figure it out.  I opened the map template and changed the layer connections, saved, created cache, and now my cache is centered on Naperville.  I've tried opening the map, changing the projection back to state plane, saving centered on my area, changed projection back to WGS, recreated cache and still can't get away from Naperville.  What am I doing wrong?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Patricia

Hi Patricia,

I'm not sure which Local Government app you are using, but check the configuration file for a section where you can set the initial extent of the application. By default, most of the applications are centered over Naperville, IL (some are centered over Bloomfield, MI), but you can change these parameters to re-position the initial extent over your area. The Extent Helper tool may help you identify what values to use.

Also - your changes may not show up until you clear your browser cache.

Cheers,
Allison M.
