Join link on a curve

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to join a parcel to an existing parcel where one of the points of the joining parcel is along a curve of the existing parcel.  When I try to add a join link from the point to the line, I get the "Create join link failed: To create a join link, select 2 points or select a point and a line (no curve)." error message.  What do I need to do in this case?  Leave that point unjoined and create links for all of the other points?

Thanks for the help Frank, so I will join at the radius point and the endpoint of the arc that both parcels share.
