Election Polling Places - Application startup initial zoom problem

Hello,

I've been working to get the Elections Polling Places up and running and am at a loss for this problem.

When the app starts and you say ok on the splash screen the display is in the center of the County rather than at the DefaultExtent defined on line 78 of the config.js which I have defined as:

DefaultExtent: "-12465450,4106191,-12216453,3882991",

I've not made any other changes so wonder if I'm missing another setting and would be grateful for any help that can be provided. I would start a chat with esri support but fee I have bugged them too much lately on this application.

Hi Tom,

Please try recreating the extent with the Extent Helper here: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/flex-viewer/helpers/FlexViewer_ExtentHelper.html

Sometimes, adjusting the browser size of the extent helper to the shape of the map portion of the application will give a better extent.
