Is it possible to get a closure error ratio (MiscloseRatio property) reported back in Deed Drafter? The distance and bearing are useful, but the closure error ratio tends to be the crux in deciding the accuracy/validity of a legal description. I really hoped this tool would be something I could implement with my staff but without the closure error reporting I have to reconsider current workflows, etc... which just isn't worth it. Just one clarification, it is a very good tool but could be awesome!
The misclose ratio is currently not supported in the user interface, but is something that can be viewed when integrating the new parcel into the Parcel Fabric using ArcGIS desktop. I would add this to http://ideas.arcgis.com/.

Thanks for the response Chris. For us the closure accuracy is one of the very first evaluations of any new document/description. If closure doesn't meet the standard then the document is simply indexed in our records management system and a letter sent out to the parties involved. Never gets to the parcel editors which is where you're saying the closure ratio is apparent. It is a nice simple tool to construct the boundary and evaluate 'fit' but that's not enough to make it useful here. Thanks again, and a big thank you to your parcel fabric team.
Chris,
Configured the new version of Deed Drafter yesterday and it's great. Thank the members of the Local Government' team for their continued attention to detail and the excellent availability/response to all users.
Joe,
Not sure if you've seen the new Parcel Drafter - if not, it's available now.
