Create raster from point data set and review

Hi,

I am trying to produce quite a specific raster, but not sure on the methodology.

I have a boundary with sporadic point data inside.  Each point a single value.

I want to create a raster based on the values within each point. The raster will be used to highlight areas within my boundary that are suitable.

I have tried basic conversions like point to raster, but am not having much luck.

I have attached a pdf that hopefully explains what I am trying to do.

Would really appreciate some advice as I believe I am trying to something very simple!

You must use the tools of spatial analyst. And create surface rasters using IDW, Spline, Krigging etc. That is a whole new subject. If you are unsure of what to do, just go with IDW, it is simplest to understand.
