Hi all,

I'm right clicking a raster in ArcMap 10.7, and going to Data > Export Data. I need to export the Raster as an 8-bit TIFF, but am only offered the option of exporting to a File Geodatabase.

How can I get the option to save to a TIFF?

Thanks!

Use the Copy Raster tool (Data Mgmt / Raster / Raster Dataset / Copy Raster) - you've got a bunch of options for raster format and bit depth there...

I would use the tool Chris recommended in any event.

However, when you try the shortcut route, is the destination location a folder or a gdb? and can you not navigate to a folder to enable a *.tif output?

I tried this, and it doesn't seem to work. We'll see if Chris's suggestion works!
