Do Not Update Your DJI M300RTK Drone to the Latest Firmware
To avoid the loss of flight functionality with Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS, do not update your DJI M300 RTK drone to the latest firmware.
During an evaluation of the latest DJI M300 firmware (aircraft firmware v05.01.01.00 and remote controller firmware v05.01.02.00), the Site Scan for ArcGIS test team determined that updating DJI M300 drones will render them unable to function with Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS. To avoid uninterrupted use, please continue using one of the supported firmware versions.
If you have already updated your drone and can no longer fly it with Site Scan Flight, you can revert to firmware version 04.01.00.00 via USB connection to your computer using the DJI Assistant 2 application. For instructions on how to downgrade your vehicle firmware, follow this video tutorial and select version 04.01.00.00.
