I am in the process of transferring a ArcMap python 2.7 based toolbox over to ArcGIS Pro 3.x toolbox. One of my inputs is an excel file that contains several sheets that define the schema of the feature classes as well as domains. In ArcMap you just define the parameter as file and no problem.
In Pro I can still select the file input type but it will not show the Excel files for selection in the folder. If I manually add the path I can start the script but am wondering why I cannot see the Excel files like in ArcMap.
