Refresh Catalog in arcpy (ArcGIS Pro)?

Working on something that involves using an Excel sheet as input. 

The current issue is that if I change the excel sheet, I have to manually refresh the catalog window in the tool input to have the changes show up.

I attempted to script in Refresh Excel (Data Management)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation, but that broke, and broke again when I ran it directly through the GUI.

Anyway, I did some searching for alternative methods and found this: RefreshCatalog—ArcMap | Documentation (arcgis.com). Sounds perfect! Oh wait, it's for ArcMap, and I can't find any sort of analog for it in Pro.

Does there exist an analog to this in Pro, or is this something I need to submit and Idea for?
