python and ERDAS neural network

I am using ERDAS 9.1.I have a question that how can I use a neural network model in ERDAS created in python.the format of ERDAS model is .gmd.or is there any neural network extension for ERDAS.

ERDAS or ArcGIS? ERDAS is a product by Intergraph, so you might have a harder time finding answers here.
