Notebook Processing

I have a notebooks are running slow. and despite starting a new project and new notebook the first process is numbered some like 19441

Each subsequent step (defining workspace or scratchworkspace can take a minute to process

I have tried restarting and clearing kernel to no avail

This has just occurred

Any suggestions?

Have you tried running the code in the Python console instead?
