This addin consists of a drop-down menu and a button. The drop-down is dynamically populated based on what layers are in the map (limited to storm, sewer, water data). The user selects which dataset is of interest, and must have features selected from the dataset. The user clicks the button and the code parses the selected features for a specific field, grabs the file name, parses a network drive where as-builts are stored, finds the corresponding as-built and opens it in the default pdf viewer. This could be modified to open any linked document in a gis dataset straight from ArcMap.
