Hi all.
I have an issue on a win 2019 server with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 and Workgroup license installed.
Portal Server and Datastore are all on the same server.
The problem is related to publishing a Mapservice with ArcGIS Pro 2.9 (updated to the latest Service Packs) containing a layer from FGDB source and a join table also coming from FGDB.

After almost 2 months of testing this is the situation:
- Publishing from FGDB on disk without JOIN: ok.
- Publication from FGDB on disk with JOIN: ok.
- Publishing from FGDB on NAS without JOIN: ok.
- Publish from FGDB on NAS with JOIN: NOT OK!!!!!

The problem seems to be the NAS.
The Map service is published without errors in ArcGIS Pro and nothing is recorded in the Manager Logs: simply the Layer is not present in REST.

Any ideas?
I am available to provide more details but I think it is a BUG in ArcGIS Pro.

Hi, I've an update.

It seems that 2 or 3 problem are overlapped:

  1.  "$" char in path of shared folder on NAS: but problem persists.
  2. Using Network drive with Letter (only publisher side): for example "O:\" path for publisher and "\\mynas\myfolder_without_dollar" server side. Using for both side "\\mynas\myfolderr_without_dollar" solved the problem.

In addition there's a third suspect problem but I'm not sure: i've registered data source in ArcGIS Server Manager Data Store and not in Pro "Data Store" command.

I hope this is helpful to someone.

Bye
