I used Model Builder to create a model inside a Toolbox/toolset in a geodatabase.
The model runs ok . When I zip my folder with the geodatabase and send it to another user, when he opens it is blank.
I0m using ArcGIS desktop 10.5 and tried to open it in version 10.5, 10.5.1 and 10.6 and nothing works.
Try send it through mail and using a pen drive.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance
Have you check any inputs to the model to ensure that they, and the model are indeed located within the folder that you zipped?
Model properties—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop
check the last parameter description
Yes, it's a simple model with all features and tools inside the geodatabase. Except the mxd and lyr files (outside the geodatabase but inside the folder).
And in that case the inputs will look white. I think the problem is with the toolset. The model is missing inside the toolset.

I would go back to the model and use Save As to ensure it is going into the toolbox you want
That is kind of weird because on my computer it is in the correct toolbox.
And other models worked just fine moving from one computer to another, this one I can't take it out of it.
As I move it or compressed the files to send by mail, in a different PC the toolbox is empty.
I save as in the right toolbox but then is the same.

This may be a stupid thing...but that happens to a few of my users too. Still do not know the reason.. but if the model was saved to the correct toolbox and the other machine can access the toolbox (added to the toolbox window) -- Open the tool and then try and right click on the .tbx that contains your model and choose "Edit".
I fixed it placing the tool not inside a toolset, but directly inside the toolbox.
This is against the best practices, but worked. Something is wrong with the toolsets.
You might want to document this for Tech Support in case it is a bug. Good info
