embedding an interactive map in a Word docx

Looking for a good resource to teach me how to embed a map into a Word Docx.  Any and all help is appreciated and thank you!

you can create interactive maps for office via a plug-in:

I could be wrong but I believe the ESRI Maps for Office onlly allows interactive maps in Excell or PowerPoint and not Word.

Not that I know of. You can easily export maps from ArcGIS as a TIFF or JPG, but I don't know of a way to make them interactive.
