Also, we are unable to use the custom styles advertised in the WMTS GetCapabilities document. Is there a way to force the use of a specific custom style when consuming a WMTS service?
Is it recommended to use a WebTiledLayer to add a WMTS layer to the map. I was able to successfully display the LINZ WMTS layer in EPSG:3857, including the custom styles, by configuring it as a WebTiledLayer.
Are there any potential drawbacks or limitations to this approach that we should be aware of?
