Hello!
I am using a sceneview to depict the current position(GPS postion, Pitch, Roll, Heading) of an aircraft view out the front window. Looking through the three atmosphere options I have found the sky color to leave a bit to desired. I need a almost solid blue color. Is it possible to create our own sky colors? If not how about making the skycolor/atmosphere transparent and I can control the skycolor behind the MySceneView.
Is this possible?
Hello @ZachRuiz,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Have you tried to set the atmosphereEffect to make it transparent and then control the color? Here is the doc for it: https://developers.arcgis.com/net/api-reference/api/net/Maui/Esri.ArcGISRuntime.Maui.ISceneView.Atmo...
Please let us know if that helps. We will look into enhancing the sky color in a future release.
@KoushikHajra Yes, I tried those. The problem is at low pitch angles the sky color is to close a white color which makes a pitch scale ladder I have to indicate the pitch difficult to see. I am recreating a synthetic vision system that is found in modern GA aircraft avionics so I am trying to have this SceneView match closely to the real world counter part.
@KoushikHajra is there a place I can officially request a feature like this? Here is an example photo
How do I make it transparent??
I see this post but its for Qt, I'd be looking for a .NET solution.

@ZachRuiz You can place a request through esri technical support for this feature. I am also going to log an internal issue for it. It would be better to see it coming from you via technical support .
