I have just created a layer using the Make XY Event Layer and this has created a Feature layer in Model builder.

Is there anyway that I can see the output of the Feature layer that has just been created.

I am using ArcGIS 10.5.1

Thanks for the reply Darren but I had already tried this.

It seems like the output just doesn't go anywhere and I want to add the feature layer to ArcMap.

Darren,

The output was a feature layer which I now converted to a shapefile I can add the shapefile and view it.

This seems to have overcome the problem.

Thanks.

John: If the model is open in edit mode and you mark the layer to add to display, and run the model, it will add to the map. If you delete the layer from the map, you can add it back to setting the add to display off and on again.

If you want to run the model as a tool (by double clicking the model) and have it appear on your map, you need to mark the layer model element as a parameter (right click - Parameter).
