I have a mosaïc dataset and I need to select a single raster to perform some geoprocessing on it. the mosaic will contains a large number of rasters, I need a method using Model Builder to select the desired raster.
Why is extracting an extent not suitable for this?
If the rasters are all the same resolution and projection you may want to consider the older gdb raster catalog. I have found the older raster catalog format a little easier to work with if I need to access and work with individual raster datasets.
I chose mosaic in order to use the time slider, the rasters have the same extent, projection and resolution, adding to this, I want to perform some statistics on single rasters extracted temporarily from the mosaic
