Hi! My name is Lisa Randle.
I am the project manager for Berkeley County (SC) for the Coastal Conservation League. I joined the organization in August 2019. I am the backup GIS mapper in the office.
I used ArcGIS desktop in graduate school and am now shifting to ArcGIS Pro. It's a huge learning curve (again) to adjust to a new platform.
In my 2018 PhD dissertation, I used viewsheds and least cost path analysis to look at the historical landscape of a late 18th- and early 19th-century plantation community in South Carolina.
In my job, I will be using GIS to examine various landuse scenarios such as smart growth and urban growth boundaries and other planning-oriented projects.
