Greetings from Glenn. I've been involved in the GIS industry, and largely, the Esri ecosystem, for 20+ years. Most recently (Sept 21) I joined Esri as the Partner Community Manager with the Global Partners & Alliances division. My role is to manage the partner community portal (sorry, partners only, but anyone can become a partner!) and I also liase with partners around the Globe as well as individuals and companies interested in the partner ecosystem (startups, developers etc...) . I'm glad to connect with you here and try to answer your questions about partnering with Esri, and invite you to also look around the new EPN network area right here on Esri Community. Cheers!
PS, you can find me on Twitter @Gletham if that's your thing!
Partners and partner companies come in all sizes, all geographies, and from all industries. By the term "partner ecosystem" this includes developers who are participating in our developer programs, small business start-ups who can benefit from our startup ecosystem, and companies ranging from one-person sole proprietorships to global Fortune 500 corporations. For those companies we offer a range of partner system tiers from bronze, silver, gold, and platinum, depending on your needs.
So, if your business is already a partner company or if you think that becoming an Esri Partner might be in your future, you'll likely find some useful information in our community. To learn more about the Esri Partner Ecosystem and to contact the team, you can connect with us at https://www.esri.com/en-us/about/partners/overview
Nice update here to the Partner community! How will this integrate with chatter? Is it in lieu of or in addition to that forum?
Hello Suzie, sorry for the delay! Good question.
I'm not really looking for an integration with the EPN Community Chatter, rather, since our Community is restricted only to PArtners who have login access to EPN, I felt that there needs to be a resource where we can communicate and share partner opportunities and related information to the at-large Esri community. My thinking is that by sharing information about being a partner, benefits etc.. it would be a good way to educate potential partners to grow the ecosystem.
