Hello Everyone,
I have Master's degree in Geography which I earned almost twenty years ago. I have been working as a High school Teacher, now I am thinking of changing my profession from teacher to GIS analyst. I have enrolled myself in the basic course of GIS, and also to MOOC Cartography course.
I would like to know that is my decision is right? is it possible to swith career by learning some professional course on GIS, or I have to go for Master's to be more skillful in the field. I am not sure if my master's degree of Geography will help, though I have good understanding of Cartography and Map Projections. I have natural interest in GIS as I have been directly and indirectly connected to the related field of GIS.
