How can I change polylines into polygones?

Hi,

I have a shapefile that contains information about different areas of a specific city. But when I identify to the areas the program only highlight the contour of the area and not the whole region of the area. So when I am trying to export the coordinates of that city I am taking only information about the contour of the city. How can I change those polylines into polygones so I can export the coordinates for the whole area and not only for the contour?

Hi,

There is a tool called Feature to Polygon but it requires an ArcInfo license.  For other possibilities, look at this thread:
