Staff at my office would like to connect a GPS puck to a Panasonic ToughBook. One option I've seen is to create a virtual COM port from a USB, making the GPS available in ArcMap. Does anyone have any experience doing this? What software(s) have you used to create the virtual COM port?
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
