Attaching Photos

I have ArcMap Basic.  I want to attach non-geotagged photos to a point shapefile.  each point will have 1-4 photos per point.  How can i do this?

If you import the shapefile into a File Geodatabase, you can enable attachments.

Peter, you are correct, enabling attachments is not available with Basic.  Another option you have is to create a new field of type 'Raster' and add the image to this field.  See the following link:

Note:  the data must be a geodatabase feature class in order to create a field of type Raster
