ArcMap layout view shortcuts

Anybody know a shortcut to return to the "Select Elements" tool (the black mouse arrow icon) after using a different tool?
I'd save a lot of time if I could press a key to get back to Select Elements after editing the vertices of some map annotation.

I assigned my F4 keyboadrd function key to it and it helps a lot. Use the Customize utility to do it.
