LocalMaps 3.2 is out now!
Hello LocalMaps Community!
We're thrilled to announce the release of LocalMaps 3.2.2! This new version comes with some key functionalities that were missing from 3.1, latest Experience builder updates, new features, and improvements designed to enhance the end users mapping experience and streamline their workflows.
Here's a summary of what's new:
Some notable updates to the community based on the previous posts and questions:
- Search results now respect the fields appear in the source. It currently appears alphabetically but we’ll aim to get search ordering in the future releases. @AnhDang
- Identify Symbology can be changed through the admin panel. As an admin, you can select the line colour and the required fill. @Palmerston_NorthCity_Council
- Print area is now highlighted with a grey fill (like v2.3x). End users can toggle this through print widget.
- Custom print templates can now be configured through the Print widget.
- Tick boxes are back in the layer list and replaces the eyeballs from 3.1. @MarlboroughDistrict_Council
- Layer list now comes with a layer search function.

Looking to migrate from v2.x instances?
- Migration assistant comes as part of the v3.x application which helps you to export and transfer your current configurations from 2.x instance to the new version seamlessly. Here is a summary of the elements that can be migrated through the assistant:
- Application and Map settings
- Data sources
- Feature queries
- Gallery settings
- Maps and apps, widget settings
- Query parameters
- Reports
- Search sources
- Social logins
- Gallery and Viewer look and feel setup
- User data including saved maps
We encourage everyone to plan their upgrade to the new version as soon as possible. If you have any question regarding your upgrade or need any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Missing any features from v2.3x?
Please refer the functionality matrix here and let us know if any feature is missing from the list. We have tried to bring most existing functionalities but do let us know if we have missed anything. We will make sure to include them in the future releases. We have few alternative options which will serve as a replacement for the RAMM module. Please talk to your Account manager for details.
