ProjectedSpatailReference and GeographicSpatialReference available in Runtime?

I see there is SpatialReference.  I cannon find some spatial reference methods to retrieve parameters that are unique to geographic spatial reference and projected spatial reference.  Are there any subclasses of SpatialReference called ProjectedSpatialReference and GeographicSpatailReference that I can use to retrieve those parameters?
