The latest release of ArcGIS Reality for ArcGIS Pro allows users to leverage readily available RPC satellite imagery and create highly realistic representations of virtually anywhere on Earth within hours. By incorporating satellite support alongside the existing drone and aerial support, users gain the ability to obtain 3D insights of remote areas, mitigate risks when evaluating hazardous regions, and make more informed decisions about large areas of interest in a more efficient manner. Users will work directly in their familiar ArcGIS Pro environment to:
- Quickly generate integrated meshes and digital surface models from RPC satellite imagery.
- Easily leverage satellite imagery content with tasking services from Esri satellite imagery partners.
- Immediately publish results to ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise for sharing or further analysis.
Other new features allow users to generate high-quality 3D meshes using rolling shutter cameras and the ability to access cloud data from AWS, Azure and enterprise object stores for reality mapping.
A webinar on November 14 will highlight the latest release.
