We have a customized web application based on ESRI technology (ArcGIS Server 10.5, Portal for ArcGIS) deployed in an intranet.
We are having issues concerning the efficiency of some processes carried in application.
The process of creating a new feature service in application lasts for about 4-5 minutes (time from starting the process in the app interface to receiving the information about a new layer/feature service being created). The difference between the time measured on the server and the time measured on the work station of the end user is about 2 minutes.
The application has three-tier architecture. The HA is provided by clusters (2 x application servers, 2 x portal servers).
The servers have sufficient resources. We are using virtualization and load-balancing.
Maybe you have similar experiences and could drop some hints regarding the source of our efficiency problems.
