Hello,

I'm curious to know how to edit the Service Description and Document Info section included in the ArcGIS Server.

More specifically, wherein the mxd file should I modify in order to see the different messages between "Service Description" and the "Comments" section included in the "Document Info".

Hi @jiyeam

You can edit it via ArcGIS Server Manager, ArcGIS Server Admin or ArcMap:

AGS Admin.pngags manager.pngarcmap.png

Hope that helps.

Derrick

Hi @KrisMilton1

It appears to be the case.

You can publish with SD via ArcGIS Server Manager:

sd.png

If the service has been published to AGS and if you have access to the AGS file system, you can navigate to:

\arcgisserver\directories\arcgissystem\arcgisinput\XXX_SERVICE_NAME_XXX\extracted\v101 to retrieve your mxd.

Hope that helps.

Hi Derrick!

From playing around, and from your response, it seems the only way to update the details in the 'Document Info' section are to go back and update the original ArcMap document.  Is that correct?  And any advice if you only have the .sd ?
