At the GIS Managers Summit, @AdamCarnow of Esri will moderate a panel discussion with three GIS professionals from a variety of perspectives –

- Erin Fashoway from the Montana State Library
- @EricAbrams from GFT, a global AEC firm
What to expect:
The group will discuss the essential skills that we don't always think of, that are needed from a leader and from their team.

Liz Parrish has led the Enterprise Geospatial practice for H-E-B since 2021. Prior to that, she was the Lead Advisor for Esri Professional Services Commercial Business practice. For the past 20 years, Liz has developed numerous geospatial strategies and award-winning geospatial programs, bringing her passion for using location intelligence to make a positive impact on organizational goals.
Erin Fashoway has held a variety of GIS roles across Montana state government, bringing passion and expertise to each. She now serves in her favorite position yet—as Montana’s State GIS Coordinator—where she leads statewide efforts to advance geospatial information, technology, and collaboration.
Eric Abrams has over 35 years of experience in the technology, corporate culture, and GIS fields. He is the former Geographic Information Officer (GIO) of the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) and has been a Strategic Geospatial Advisor for GFT since 2020. Throughout his career, Eric has witnessed a wide range of experiences, from impressive infrastructure deployments to poor corporate cultures.
