Valley Electric Association, Inc. (VEA) has an immediate opening for a GIS Administrator to work in our headquarters located in Pahrump, Nevada.
The GIS Administrator will maintain and update VEA’s Geographic Information System (GIS), maps, including graphic representation of the distribution and transmission circuits, and the communications network. It has the skills, knowledge, and responsibility for the GIS System used by VEA’s Lands, Engineering, and Operations Departments. This position is expected to think creatively, and implement information organization systems which categorize data for organizational decision making, and improve operational efficiency for VEA’s field crews.
