We are looking for a person to be able to supply software support, software upgrades, software training, and software testing for life-critical 9-1-1 systems. This position will report to the Customer Services manager. It may require after hour support. Preference will be given to candidates in the Austin, TX area.
Responsibilities:
• Support spatial products, providing technical support, installation, and product training for customers.
• Assist with planning and implementation of spatial software roll-outs and installations.
• QA/testing of new products before they're available for release to ensure functionality and no bugs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement ideas and concepts for future spatial product releases.
• Utilize help desk to streamline error response and resolutions.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Technical experience with Microsoft operating systems
• Experience with SQL Server a plus
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS a plus
• Experience with automated testing tools a plus
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and function as part of a team
• Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, detail-oriented and sound judgement
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and data input accurately at a reasonable rate of speed
• Ability to work in an office environment and adhere to company policies and procedures The position will start as a remote employee
(work from home) and may transition into an office environment.
