In celebration of YouthMappers Day and GIS Day, CUSS YouthMappers organized a hands-on workshop titled “Introduction to OSM & QGIS: A Beginner-Friendly GIS Workshop.”
The QGIS basics were expertly conducted by General Secretary Al Tahsin Mahamud Khan, while the OSM session was facilitated by Asst. General Secretary Md. Rezanur Rahman. Abdul Muhaimen Jamil Washi, President of CUSS YouthMappers, monitored members and led the program, and Shifat Shahrin Shawccho, President of Chittagong University Scientific Society, was also present at the event.
Our members explored the basics of open mapping, learned essential GIS tools, and engaged with practical geospatial techniques useful for real-world applications.
It was wonderful seeing our participants learn, share ideas, and dive into the world of geospatial mapping together.
