I’m excited to share highlights from our GIS Day 2025 celebration held yesterday at the Centre for Coastal Management (ACECoR), University of Cape Coast, Ghana. This year’s event embraced the global theme “Geo-Generalist Era: Where Spatial Meets Everything,” bringing together government agencies, NGOs, academia, and student groups to explore the power of geospatial technologies.
The event created a strong platform for collaboration, capacity building, and innovation in GIS and remote sensing especially for environmental management and coastal resilience.
