I need some assistance from someone that can write me a python script. I have three feature classes. The one is an index that has a field called MapSheet i.e. 3318AA the second feature class is all the contours for the entire country and contains a field MapSheet. The third is a user defined study boundary polygon. I would like to select the index features that are required to cover the study boundary polygon then based on the select index features using the MapSheet field the contours are selected and a layer file is generated based on the subset selection. I have a deadline that I need to meet and I have not been able to find a way through model builder to accomplish this without writing a python script, unfortunately I don't have any programming skills and I need to meet a urgent deadline. Any assistance will greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
