Hello,

I am attempting to make a raster layer from a ORAS5 (OCEAN5) Reanalysis netCDF. The file was downloaded from the Climate Data Store through the Python CDSAPI. The ORAS5 netCDF does not appear to be in agreement with CF conventions as ERA6 netCDFs are. The lat/long variables are 2D arrays named 'nav_lat' and 'nav_lon' which is a problem for ArcPro to interpret. There is minimal geospatial information in the metadata of the file. I am able to display the raster file but only very small at the (0,0) position due to the lack of boundaries and origin information. Has anyone else come across this issue? I am specifically using ORAS5 for a set of ocean variables that don't use ERA5.

I will provide some screenshots of Sea Surface Temperature (SST) netCDF info, example data, and error info.

For some reason, ORAS5 creates irregular grid spacing but ERA5 has regular (and usable) spacing. How can I get around this? Thanks.
