Hi there,
I have two polygon shapefiles: 1 with census tract polygons (block profiles) and another layer with greenspace (polygons).
I am trying to calculate the area of green space within each census tract and assign it as an attribute in the census tract field so I can create a choropleth map.
Any insight on how to do this? I have fooled around with intersect and spatial joins for a few hours but can't seem to make it work.
