Hi all,
I am using Arcgis 10. I have a KMZ file of an image. How can I convert it to projected raster? (my friend can do it with tool "COnversion-> KML to Layer, but he is using Arcgis 10.1).

(I save it as KML, and then try to project the image generated, but it go to wrong location).

Thanks
Huong

When you bring the kml in does it have a projection?  If it doesn't you can simply georeference it using the georeference toolbar.

kml only supports lat/long (geographic) coordinates.
Once you pry it out of the kml, that is what it should be,
so just try defining the raster projection as
GCS_WGS_1984
WKID: 4326 Authority: EPSG
